Oh ok. How about you see how you feel when an older family member sexually violates you and nobody else in the family acknowledges it let alone gives a fuck or tries to put any stop to it. Yep, just went there. And if they don’t care, why should the law?
Fuck you. According to the FBI, false crime reports are approximately equal among all crimes, including rape/sexual assault. For every false rape report, there’s countless cases of real, actual rapes that are either reported and don’t see justice, or go unreported because of fears instilled by fucking people like you.
I’m not saying to automatically persecute the accused as though ze is 100% confirmed beyond a reasonable doubt guilty. I’m saying to sit the fuck down and fucking listen to the survivor.
